William Morris began his design career in London in the 1860s. From the start William Morris worked mostly with textiles and he was very fascinated by the medieval textile tapestries. So textiles and fabrics has always been close to William Morris heart! In Morris & Co's design studio in Loughborough goodies from the archives are now discovered and redesigned to get a touch of the 2000s. Several of the new Morris wallpapers were actually first made as fabrics!
